Lamps were out of the box and functioning in less that 5 minutes. They give out a lot of light. Work wonderful and I will buy more.

The brightness is impressive. I was worried before that it might not be bright enough, but it turns out I was overthinking it. Its illumination is really good, enough to light up the entire room without producing glaring, harsh light. This is important to me because I enjoy reading at night, and this light provides ample illumination for me to read comfortably without straining my eyes.
