If you want to plug in then you do need to connect the wires but it is very simple. Perfect size for bedside. Excellnt amount of lighting. Highly recommend. Very good price as well

This light may look simple but is a large statement light. It adds a modern touch to update any room. We're using it in an office and we appreciate that we can change the color temperature of the LED's. The warm light is just the right touch for evenings and the neutral white is great for daytime meetings. The only problem we had was installation, since it is so large it's a bit difficult to wire up the connections. Would highly recommend since it's a slick fashion piece and works beautifully.
