Yes, this can be a great piece. It is great for an entry hallway or over a large dining room set.

Very nice little lamp. It takes hardly any space and goes well in the room we placed it in.

We really like these (we got 2) for over our large island. Watch the measurements, they are quite large. This works for us, but would overwhelm a medium or small island. They arrived extremely well packaged, and while this means a lot of packaging to dispose of, it also means there was no chance for damage. The alabaster is just right and depending on what bulb you use it really offers a lot of variation to meet individual design and lighting preferences.

While I love the design of the lamp, I wish it were a bit taller. It's a bit short for my work desk.

Fine workmanship, the design style is very fashionable and generous, the customer service is very enthusiastic
