The word Kalani is the Hawaiian word for "of the heavens or sky." To some, it also has noble connotations meaning "royal one." For Varaluz, it is the culmination of a very regal collection of metal work styled in the grand traditions of Venetian glass and crystal chandeliers found in Smithsonian archival holdings. What makes the Kalani collection most striking is that we work in sustainable Capiz and upcycled Kabebe shells (reclaimed after food harvesting) with lead-free crystal to create a warm and inviting take on a glam fixture from days gone by, now reimagined for the modern day.

This Light is gorgeous. I have it on either side of my vanity mirror and it looks great. Our house was built in the 1920s with very high ceilings and this fits in perfectly! Pros: Color Cons: None.

Our cul-de-sac is very dark at night and it felt a little unsafe... I went ahead and bought two of these (based on reviews) and am quite impressed with the quality and brightness. They are self-regulating as the brightness is determined by battery level... Even with trees that block the morning sun, they turn on at dusk and stay bright well into the night... Just two of them mounted on 4x6 fence posts light up a sizable area... Install was easy using a few wood screws and washers to secure into place... Overall, this is a great product and highly recommended...
