The lamp I wanted had a longer glow but was too expensive; this little lamp does it! ! Works great, easy to put together, a variety of lighting types, cafe, computer, different shades to choose from. I happened to twist the light part towards the wall for an area light instead of directly over the couch and it looks and functions just right! Great deal to upgrade the classic I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I would have liked a longer bulb, but again, it works really well.
