For the price (inexpensive) they are nice - certainly look nice. Yes, they are not the strongest and sturdiest build but they are functional and attractive. Active pets and children "may" cause them some harm. Would be nice if they were taller - but they are what they are. I am happy with my purchase.

Bought this to decorate update my kids room ( I live in NYC) they share a room and it looks great. Its smaller and more of an accent lamp that provides soft ambient lighting which is what I wanted. Quick shipping overall would recommend. Its perfect next to the futon sofa.
