It is such a beautiful piece, very elegant and modern, not ostentatious and lights up the room perfectly. The light is dimmable and the height is adjustable, however be very careful because once you pull the cord up it wont go down, so make sure you have an idea of the length before adjusting it. The metal wire gives you the guidance of where the front of the piece is, so it should face forward. Great price and quality
